What the city's bulky pickup covers
GFL collects bulky items for North Kansas City residents, but only household items that one or two people can reasonably carry. Electronics like TVs, tires, hazardous waste, and construction materials are excluded, and appliances have to be certified free of refrigerant. Check the city's page for current rules.
Where that leaves a full house
A basement of boxes, a garage, a piano, forty years of furniture: none of it fits those limits, and all of it still has to be carried out. That's the work we coordinate. We manage vendors for sorting, donation, and hauling.
Who coordinates the work
Dustin Williams organizes your project and manages the vendors doing the physical work. He's been hauling since 2023 and also owns Grateful Hauling and Delivery.
Is there a minimum job size?
There's no minimum project size. Hauling-only jobs go through Grateful Hauling and Delivery, with pricing based on volume.
When can you work?
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday are by appointment.
