Moving a parent from a house they've lived in for decades into a smaller place is two jobs at once: deciding what comes along, and dealing with everything that doesn't. Legacy Bridge helps plan both and manages the vendors doing the physical work, at your parent's pace.

Your parent's preferences come first. Nothing leaves the house until the person in charge says so. If your parent wants to be in the room for every box, that's how we'll do it.

Dustin Williams organizes your project and manages the vendors doing the physical work. He's been hauling since 2023 and also owns Grateful Hauling and Delivery.

What does it cost?

Organization fees are $500 for small projects, $1,500 for medium projects, and $2,500 for large projects. Vendor charges and an additional fee calculated as a percentage of vendor charges are separate. You'll review the scope, percentage fee, and expected total before work begins.

Is there a minimum job size?

There's no minimum project size. Hauling-only jobs go through Grateful Hauling and Delivery, with pricing based on volume.

Can my parent be part of the decisions?

Yes. Their preferences are the starting point.

Does Legacy Bridge do the packing?

Legacy Bridge doesn't perform physical packing. We organize the project and manage vendors. Discuss any packing needs and the vendor's coverage before booking.

What happens to what doesn't move?

Usable items go to local shelters and thrift stores. The rest gets hauled away.

When can you work?

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday are by appointment.
