Estate cleanouts and downsizing help in Parkville, MO

Parkville gives residents two chances a year to get rid of big items. If the house you're clearing has a closing date in three weeks, that calendar doesn't help much.

What Parkville's cleanup events cover

The city holds a cleanup event every April and October at Rockridge Quarry on NW River Park Drive, plus a curbside bulky item pickup the Monday after the fall event. They're for Parkville residents only, and you'll need proof of residency. Check the city's page for this year's dates.

A Parkville address isn't always Parkville

Many homes with a Parkville mailing address are actually in Kansas City or unincorporated Platte County, and those homes don't qualify for the city's events. If you're settling a parent's estate from out of town, that's an easy thing to find out too late. We work at any address, whichever side of the line it's on.

Who coordinates the work

Dustin Williams organizes your project and manages the vendors doing the physical work. He's been hauling since 2023 and also owns Grateful Hauling and Delivery.

Do I have to wait for the city's cleanup day?

No. We work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and weekends by appointment.

Is there a minimum job size?

There's no minimum project size. Hauling-only jobs go through Grateful Hauling and Delivery, with pricing based on volume.

What happens to things that are still usable?

Dustin donates to local shelters and thrift stores. What can't be donated gets hauled away.
